The high-performance, handheld OS758-LS dual infrared thermometer is a non-contact temperature measurement instrument. The OS758-LS offers a wide array of features including adjustable emissivity, color backlit LCD, 60:1 distance to spot, hi/ low temp alarm, max/min/avg/diff temperature monitoring and data storage. This meter is also designed with a microSD card slot (SD card included).
The OS758-LS offers a rugged design that is shatterproof at 1 m (3.3') with an ergonomic rubber boot handle. A Type K thermocouple input is included for contact measurements, often used to verify emissivity.

Don‘t know how to use
This item is too new to find a specific mannul for it. I have asked the mannul two times and that was the answer of that. It has two last points, however, the two laser point could not combine to one spot which mease I could not make sure which point exactly it is testing. So I return it back.

Does the OS758 come with a calibration cert ? If so, is that good for 1 year ?
Thank you for your inquiry Jef64. The OS758 does not come with a calibration certificate. Calibration can last up to one year depending on the use of the IR sensor. It's recommended to calibrate sensors every year. You can request calibration for this sensor during purchase.

How does the SPI Interface work? I couldn't find any information about its connections or timing in the manuals.

I was looking for on online manual, but did not see one. I see that it comes with a connector to plug a probe sensor that can be used for emissivity verification. If I wanted to do that, how would I install the wires for the probe port?

The OS758-LS has a receptacle that accepts a type K mini flat prong connector .One type K thermocouple with connector comes with unit.
We also offer many different type K probe styles with a connector that can be used with the OS758-LS .
Probe selection is based on temperature range min and max , and application.
