The OS306-series handheld digital IR thermometer is used for non-contact temperature measurement of metals, ceramics, graphite, etc. in temperature ranges between -50°C (-58 °F) and 700°C (1292°F). This portable battery powered unit has a 12:1 field of view, displays current temperature as well as minimum, maximum, average and differential temperatures. Other features include a backlit LCD display, adjustable emissivity, alarm settings and a single laser dot to help locate the target.

Can the -50 to 700°C, 12:1 Performance Infrared Thermometer; -50 to 700°C, 12:1 FOV, Infrared Thermometer; be Calibrated? If so, can I calibrate it in-house, or will it need to be sent in? As Always, Thank You for Your Time & Cooperation.
The OS-306-121 can be checked for accuracy in the field if there is a Black Body reference available. If it turns out to be out of tolerance then it would need to be returned to Omega for calibration.

Does this come with a calibration certificate?
The OS-306-121 only comes with a Certificate of Conformance Omega's CAL-1 which is not NIST traceable.
