Product Overview
OMEGALUX™ CRFC and CRWS Series radiant heaters are produced using high quality and purity vacuum formed ceramic fiber, with low sodium inorganic bond. Helically wound iron-chrome-aluminum wire elements assure top quality in this extra-efficient, low watt density series. The helically wound wire is imbedded into the vacuum formed ceramic fiber.

works well for what we need.
Works well. Using this to pre-crack the molecules in our precursors for low temperature CVD and ALD process. The lead wires are a little small but not a big hang up for what we do, just have to insulate the wires and retrofit the electrical connection.

Is there a minimum temperature these can be operated at?
Thank you for the inquiry. These are designed for use in indoor controlled environment. Materials may fail if operated in freezing conditions.

Can I use this to heat inside a pipe? Or is this strictly to heat the outer surface of pipe?
The Heaters refractory material directs the heat inward so it would not heat a pipe from the inside out.

I don't understand the temperature limitation. Kanthal should be able to coast to 1400 C and the insulation doesn't sound especially flammable. Could the max temperature be pushed a bit if this were contained in a suitable furnace 'rated' enclosure?
Thank you for your inquiry. Maximum Operating Temperature is the temperature value at which the heater can continue to function properly and safely. It should not be exceeded for this reason.
