I am looking for a meter to sense moisture and/or water in a fuel tank. Would this sense water that would gather at the bottom of a fuel tanks? I would then want to pump the water out and have the sensor shut the pump off once gasoline is sensed.

Asked by: Jackins
Thank you for your inquiry on this product. A conductivity probe with a transmitter would be better to detect or sense water since it is conductive compared to gasoline. You may look at the DPU91 conductivity transmitter with the required module, DPU90-C, and a probe to be able to sense water at the bottom of the tank.
