Award-Winning Technology
The OMEGA™ iBTHX is simple to install and use, and features OMEGA’s award-winning iServer technology that requires no special software except a Web browser.
The iBTHX connects to an Ethernet network with a standard RJ45 connector and sends data in standard TCP/IP packets. It is easily configured with a simple menu using a Web browser, and it can be password protected.
From within an Ethernet LAN or over the Internet, the user simply types an IP address or an easy-toremember name such as “Cleanroom 5” or “Midwest Server Room” in any Web browser, and the iBTHX serves a Web page with the current readings.
Email Alarms
All OMEGA iBT(H)X models that are on a LAN connected to the Internet can trigger an alarm that can be sent by email to a user or a distribution list anywhere in the world, including text messages to cell phones and PDA's.
Typical Applications
The OMEGA iBTHX is excellent for monitoring temperature and humidity in applications such as: clean rooms, computer rooms, HVAC systems, pharmaceutical/food processing and storage, hospitals, laboratories, semiconductor labs, electronic assembly, warehousing, museums, manufacturing, greenhouses, and farm animal shelters.

The OMEGA iBTX-SD with LCD display adds several valuable features to the backlit local display of temperature and barometric pressure.
SD Flash Memory Card
The iBTX-SD comes complete with a removable SD Flash Memory card that can store up to years of readings taken at ten second intervals
Records on SD Flash Cards
The data is recorded on widely available SD (Secure Digital) flash cards. The format is a simple “.txt” text file that is easily imported to spread sheets and other programs. It can be read on a PC or MAC with a USB card reader. You can also download the data remotely over an Ethernet network or the Internet.
Alarm Relays
The iBTX-SD features two 1.5 Amp relays. With the easy Web-based setup page, the two relays can be programmed for any combination of temperature or pressure, and high or low set points. The relays can also be programmed to remain latched and require a manual reset if a limit is exceeded.
Battery Backup
The iBTX-SD comes with a universal 100 to 240 Vac power adapter. A standard 9 Volt Alkaline battery (also included) allows the device to log data for up to 2 days without external ac power. A failure on the Ethernet network will not interrupt data recording.

Adjustable Charts

Killer Application for Engineering/Scientific
These sensors are very good. We have them in all our labs and offices. The output data is utilized with our own custom desktop application. Sensing humidity is also a big plus for us due to the organic sensors we make.
The built-in server makes the sensor a powerful tool such that all in the company can use the data as a reference for the ambient environment.
Now we cannot live without them...thanks much!

Hello team, We purchased 'IBTHX-D' model and we see 'Open' for all the reading Humidity, temperature, pressure in the webpage. Tried to restart couple of times. Infact may times in 2 weeks. This is recently bought just 2-3 weeks back.Please suggest.
Was there ever a resolution to this? We are seeing the same thing on continuous polling.

Does this data logger uses a web interface that rely on Java? Is it compatible with recent web browsers?
If you want to communicate with this device directly to its IP address on a web browser, it will require the latest version of Java in order to view the graphs.
You can also use our Omega Enterprise Gateway software to monitor and record the data off of the device, which would not require Java.

What kind of measurement tolerance levels does the barometric pressure reading have in kPa for the iServer MircorServer?

I regularly have the problem that I can not connect to the sensor via the web interface after it has been supplied with voltage. I have to reset the sensor manually so that the sensor is accessible again and data can be queried.

I am trying to calibrate this unit IBTHX-W SERIAL #18120217, but can not find any program that can help me do so. Could you guide me to the software so I can calibrate it.
Thank you,for your question. Unfortunately, the device dos not get calibrated , just the probe and it has to be returned to Omega for calibration you cannot calibrate in the field. You have to contact Customer Service at CSERVICE @OMEGA.COM or 1-800-622-2378 for a return.

Hi, The manual requests JRE 1.7. Does this matter?
If you are using a browser you will require the latest version of Java.
When Java is not supported then you can use our software Omega Enterprise Gateway instead.

OMega iserver iTHX-SD 16030519 How often does this unit need calibrtation and is it just the probes and not the monitor? Do you have any calibration instructions?
Thank you for your question. We recommend annual calibration, but if it is still accurate it is up to the end-user if this is required. The probe is the item that is calibrated and it cannot be done in the field. Most customers just purchase a calibrated probe.
