Chemist: I don't recommend this product.
The logger is very difficult to use, and the instructions are very poorly written. I loaded the software for the wireless data collection, and upon rebooting the PC as instructed, my computer crashed. It was so bad that I had to conduct a restore on the PC. It is unfortunate. The logger itself seems to be ruggedly constructed and of good quality - just can't use it as intended.

As described easy to learn.
I purchased this to track internal concrete temperature. Excellent unit. Was confused at first and called. They actually took the time to do so.

Great
Can be used to display temperature right out of the box if that is all you want it for. The instruction sheet for use as a datalogger is much easier to understand if you are operating the instrument while reading.

Omega HH806AW Temperature Logger
This instrument fills a void in providing a wireless transfer of data files via a radio modem. Easy to use and clear instructions.

Can you download data from the logger while it is still recording temperatures or can the data download with the HH800-SW software only happen while the datalogger is in an idle mode (turned on but not recording temps)?
Thank you for the inquiry. Meter must be in idle mode in order to begin data download steps.
Best regards

Is the software that goes with the HH800 series for USB data logging compatible with with a Windows 10 operating system? The data sheet only mentions Windows 2000 and XP.
Hello, per the data sheet, the HH800-SW and the HH800W-RSW both allow real-time data logging to a
PC. For wireless enable meters HH800W-RSW comes with both the software and wireless receiver, while for meters with USB, HH800-SW comes with the software and a USB cable. Both versions of software (compatible with Windows® 10) are identical and can work interchangeably. Please contact our Tech Support if we can be of any further assistance. Thank you.

1) What is the sampling rate? Is the sampling rate adjustable, and if so, to what values? 2) For the HH806AU model, is the only way to upload data to a PC is using the software that you sell for windows?
The measurement interval is settable from 1 second to 23 Hrs 59 Minutes and 59 Seconds. The meters sampling rate is 2.5 times per second and fixed. The separately sold Software HH800-SW is the only way data can be uploaded.
