Product Overview
The environmental paperless monitor provides PC-based remote surveillance of environmental conditions in critical HVAC applications such as computer server rooms, clean rooms, laboratories, museums, warehouses, or any remote facility. View and record temperature and relative humidity. Data points can be transferred to PC via RS232 serial port for further analysis. The remote (detachable) probe senses the ambient conditions while the LCD graphs and provides numerical representation of the readings. Programmable audiovisual alarms alert the user when ambient conditions reach alarm presets. The optional alarm module permits automatic relay switching when alarm presets are reached. The software is a full-featured program that allows you to set up all data logger functions including sampling rate, logging duration, start mode, logging mode, and high and low temperature alarm values.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Buyer Beware: NIST Certification Expiry Date The online ordering process was seamless and the product itself was delivered promptly. On 5 Oct, 2020, I received the order I placed on 1 October, 2020. Having paid an additional $175.00 for NIST certification, the accompanying certificate had a calibration done date of 9 Jan 2020 and a due date of 9 Jan 2021 Given that I received this unit on 5 Oct., 2020, there is approximately 25% of the calibration validity left, 75% already expired. I sent a request on October 6th to the customer service e mail for a proportional refund of $131.25 pro rated by 75%, for the payment for NIST certification valid for 1 year. As of Oct 24th there has been no acknowledgement.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Paperless Humidity/Temperature Chart Recorder I bought the chart recorder for my team to use for about 3 weeks, and the recorder had memory corruption problem. The recorded data can't be exported with the serial connection. I'll soon look into returning the unit.

Needing the unit to record temps inside freezers and refrigerators. Will this unit be compatible? Also, how long is the record time?

Hi Kathleen, Thank you for the inquiry. Sensor is rated to -20 F and RH range is 20 to 95% RH. You would need to be careful to avoid condensing moisture conditions. Condensation would foul the RH sensor. Record time depends on the recording rate which is selectable (0.1 to 199.9 minutes). Unit has capacity of 49,152 record sets. Best regards OMEGA
