Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to use We use these intelligent relays for various control systems in our laboratory. We use them for opening/closing valves in timed sequences and for interlocking vacuum equipment. Our control actions are based on time or inputs, and the output action is opening/closing valves. Inputs include manual switches and set-point relays. There is also an option for analog input. The ladder logic software is relatively easy to learn, and there is a simulation mode that allows you to check the function of your code. The units are low cost and can replace more expensive control systems based on other PLCs or computer DAQ cards. The one thing that is missing is PID loops for temperature control. We have 3 of them, and they work well. I would recommend this product if it meets your control needs.

can I call up different programs with these controllers ?? How easy is this to do? Thanks

You can store several sub-routines in the program that can be called up as required. This may present a challenge to do for an entry level programmer.
