OMEGA’s LC702 Series Tension Links have a 6 ft (2 m) cable, and the LC712 Series have an integral connector. Both series are all stainless steel high capacity in-line tension load cells, for applications including cables on cranes, support rods in architectural designs, engine test beds, and industrial weighing applications.

What would be a typical signal to noise ratio using load cells LC101 and LC 702?
Thank you for your question, this is very dependent on the particular application but if only talking about load cells the LC101 is little better than LC702 because LC101 output sensitivity is 3, and the LC702’s output sensitivity is 2mV/V.
3 to same noise ratio is bigger than 2, but not much different. If want to reduce the noise ratio, the best way is to use load with built-in amplifier which will increases output over noise, additionally we would recommend the use of short cables.
