Product Overview
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Custom wood bending I’m using these heaters to bend thin woods for acoustic guitar sides. They are excellent and provide quick and even heat to these expensive woods.

I am looking for a heat jacket for a column. When this product diameter says 6" is that a firm 6" or is there some leeway on that diameter?

Asked by: Dappeldoorn
Hi - We do have a tolerance of +/- 1/8" on all designs. If you need any further assistance, please contact our Tech Support. Thank you.

If I wire 2 110V heaters in series on a 220V line, will I get the same output wattage per square inch?

Asked by: colt
Hi Colt, Thank you for the inquiry. The 2 heaters would have to have to be identical in total power and total resistance rating. Else one heater will run hotter then the other. Best regards, OMEGA

I need to keep the water that gets trapped in a 3/4" ball valve when closed from freezing. Will the SRMU050102-P work? The ball valve is brass, but has some plastic parts. Will I need a thermostat? Will your FTG305 work?

Asked by: Ken Pino
Thank you for your inquiry. Please send your application requirements to heaters@omega.com and we can review and advise.
