The CN730 Series ¼ DIN temperature controllers offer easy-to-use programming menus designed for quick installation. Control functions include ON/OFF, PID, auto-tunstyle="text-align: center;"ing or manual tuning. The CN730 Series is available with relay, dc pulse or current output with two additional alarm outputs. The alarm outputs can be configured from 12 different preprogrammed settings. The CN730 Series accepts a variety of thermocouple and RTD inputs. Process value and set-point value are simultaneously displayed with the process value in red and setpoint in green.

For the Current Output option, when the controller is tuned correctly, is the 4-20mA output altered to maintain the setpoint or is it just a constant pulse?

Thank you for your inquiry DJ92. A 4-20 mA output changes depending on how close or far away you are from the setpoint. Therefore, a 4-20 mA is not a constant pulse.

Is the relay electromechanical or solid state? Is the relay enclosed?

I can no longer enter auto tune. When I get to the AT selection, I can't select ON. Is there some way to restore auto tune functionality?
