The heater can be controlled independently to the fan, allowing a “fan-only†mode for air circulation. The product has been designed, and approved, for build-in applications. It has a robust construction utilizing two anodized aluminum extrusions, coupled to a 40 mm (1.6") fan. The heating element is a PTC heater.

What's the BTU output for the 12v 60w unit please?
I’m looking at these heaters to place in outside battery box to keep my lithium batteries warm. In my area it gets to around 18 degrees as the low temperature. It can remain below freezing for 4-8 hrs.

How is it mounted? Would it work in a campervan?
The FCH-FGC10022R is a compact fan heater for small enclosures. Typical application is to heat a small electrical enclosure to keep components from dropping below their operating temperature range. Larger areas or enclosures would require more power to heat. We have emailed you the user guide for detailed instructions. Thank you for connecting with Omega!

How does this unit mount? I've got an enclosure being made for a Robot Tool with a camera that will need heat. The insides of the enclosure are already very close to the outer dimensions of this unit and I'd like to know how it mounts to be sure it fits
Please send your inquiry to heaters@omega.com and instructions can be provided.

What is the sound level produced (i.e. db level) by a typical 100WATT heater/fan?
Unfortunately there is no readily available data on the sound level of the Heaters. You can send a request to heaters@omega.com and see if that can be researched.

Is there a way to control the heating output of this unit? Can I change voltage input for heat control?
Hi Hubbies,
Thank you for the inquiry. Best to use a thermostat with the heating circuit. For other questions please forward request to TEMP@OMEGA.COM.
Best regards

Can this heater be attached to a hose duct for use as a defroster and mounted remotely? If not do you have an inline heater for 2.5” duct?
The Heater could have a tube of appropriate material attached and send heat through it to act as a defroster but Omega has not experimented to know how this should be configured. The Heater as long as it is powered correctly and in the recommended environment can be mounted remotely. Omega sells the AHF series duct heater which is 4" that could probably be reduced for your application.
