Design needs improvement
Have gone through 3 or 4 of these in under 2 years. After a very short period of use the wheel inside loosens up and gets caught up which slows the speed of it and gives an incorrect flow. This has happened on every one of these we have bought and it is clearly a poor design

The worst
This is the most stupidly designed flowmeter ever. The wire harness is within about 1/16 inch of one of the water fitting. Virtually any water fitting I tried to put onto the flow meter body would not screw on because of interference witht he wiring harness. I just took vise grips and removed the wiring harness and when I removed it all the wires inside inside were sheared off. Dead as a doornail just like that.

Do you have any pressure drop v. flow information for this flow meter? I was unable to find any information in the manual. Thank you.
Thank you for your inquiry! Yes, pressure drop information is available for the various flow meters in this series. Please contact us at flow@omega.com so that we can share the pressure drop curves.

Hi, I want to use FSW204P-PC to indicate whether water is flowing or not. the flow rate in my application is 220GPM. will my flow rate damage this switch? will any amount of flow above the range of this switch still energized the relay? Thanks
Thank you for your inquiry. The max flow rate it can handle it 5 GPM as noted in the data sheet. You may email flow@omega.com and specific the pipe diameter and can suggest an alternative flow switch that best fits your application.
