Super OMEGACLAD™ XL Probes are an excellent choice for high temperature measurement. They provide very low drift at high temperatures as compared to conventional Inconel and Stainless Steel sheathed probes. They are available in both K and N thermocouple calibrations. Omega offers probes in a variety of styles.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality product Worked for less than a year then stopped. Was used 2-3 times x week measuring hot water and then stored dry. for the price we paid we are very dissastisfied with the longevity of the product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product, took forever to ship! Product works incredibly well but be wary of freight/shipping times. Ordered mid-July, called beginning of August to get an ETA and they said end of August. Didn't actually ship till I called again mid-September and arrived the following week. Other than that, great product.

Can this probe be cut to a shorter length?

Hello, does this product work in direct contact with molten metals up to the 2400F, or is there some sort of sleeve you might recommend in addition to this T/C?

Is this product food safe?

Hi, this thermocouple probe is made from a high temperature metal which can go to 2400F but is not specifically rated for food applications or sanitary.
