The OMEGA PCM5 Series converter is designed to convert a 4 to 20 mA signal from a process/ temperature controller or computer to a time proportional output.
The modules mount directly to the input terminals on a 3 to 32 Vdc input SSR, and supports single phase 50 or 60 Hz operation. Lever clamps are provided on the converter for the 4 to 20 mA input. The SSR’s power section provides easy connection to the line and load.
SPECIFICATIONS
Analog Input Signal:4 to 20 mA minimal; 0 to 30 mA permissible; reverse polarity protected; no abnormal operation below 4 mA
Compliance Voltage Requirement:6.4V
Time Base:~200 mS @ 50%, ~500 mS towards 0 and 100%
Ambient Temperature:0 to 40°C (32 to 104°F)

Does the PCM5 require voltage to power it up? If so how many amps? Where do you plug the input power in? What do the 2 pots do please? Can you adjust the time duration of the pulse to 1 second?
Thank you for your inquiry. 3 to 32 VDC at 4-20mA to power it. Please see manual for wiring diagram.

Are the pots for zero and span adjustments. Adjust the Zero so no output until input get to 40 % ie 10.4 ma' Span would be set at 20ma output so 40 to 100% input = 0 to 100% output
Hi Randy
Pots are set at factory so that a 4 mA you have no pulse output. At 20 mA you would have constant on cycle. At 12 mA you have 50% on time with a time base of 200 mS.
Best regards,
OMEGA
