Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good product We have been ordering and using the RTD-850-B for at least 6 months now. We have used about 9 of these RTDs. Performance wise they work well. However durability is not great. The adhesive holding the RTD into the well often breaks loose from sustained operations between 200-210 C. Product is rated for 230 C.

The datasheet states +/-0.12%, but also states class B accuracy per IEC 60751. Class B from my understanding is +/-0.3C + 0.005*t where t is the temperature being measured, in absolute value. Is 0.12% correct for the whole temperature range?

Asked by: joebot5
Thank you for your inquiry joebot5. According to our documentation for Class B accuracy, the formula should be the Class B = ±(0.3 + 0.005*t)°C or 100.00 ±0.12 O at 0ºC. That's correct, the accuracy applies to the entire range.
