OMEGA™ Quick Disconnect Thermocouple Assemblies feature standard size OSTW thermocouple connectors, with probes from 1/16 to 1/4". These probes are available with grounded, ungrounded or exposed junctions with either 304 SS or Inconel sheaths.
*Specify junction type: E (Exposed), G (Grounded) or U (Ungrounded).
To order with 310, 316 or 321 Stainless Steel Sheath, change “SS” in Model No. to “310SS”, “316SS” or “321SS” respectively, no add’l charge.
**To order Super OMEGACLAD™ XL, change “IN” to “XL” and add $3.

Probes up to 48 inches in length are shipped "straight." Probes over 48 inches are shipped "coiled". If probe above 48 inches in length must ship straight, please add "-SST" to the end of the part number, and add $75.00 to the probe cost. Additional shipping fees from carrier may also apply for non-standard length packaging.

This is the probe - and then what do I need to connect this to a datalogger?

What gauge is the thermocouple wire itself? Does it vary based on probe diameter (e.g. for the 1/16" diameter)?

Yes wire gauge of the probe is determined by the probe diameter. For this spec please refer to spec page for "XL-K-MO". You will find wire gauge vs probe diameter there.

Are these available in custom lengths over 24"?
Thank you for your inquiry. Yes they are but you have to create the probe on the Configurator by clicking the Configure Now button on the product page.
