These versatile liquid crystal Polyester Film/Plastic sheets can easily be cut to any size. With a fast response time, these temperature-indicating sheets provide a quick visual readout in laboratory, testing and evaluation applications. Sheets are available in 12 x 12" size or as a kit consisting of six 6 x 12" sheets, approximately .01" thick. A sample pack, including six 6 x 12" sheets, one from each temperature range, is also available as shown in the ordering matrix.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Thermochromic LC It´s a good product to illustrate how thermochromic liquid cristals can display different colours according to temperature. I use it for interactive teaching.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for hidden heating underfloor. Bought this for a project to repair tile on my heated floor. Saw this as an option and a way to see the wires running under the floor. The other option was a FLIR camera. For the price I paid, a lot cheaper than the FLIR, this was the way to go. It showed my wires perfectly and I was able to mark them off and conduct my repair withought the risk of damaging my under floor heating. Great product and worth the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good stuff This stuff is super helpful for PCB repair and testing. You can find hot ICs really fast. It's also helpful for ESD testing circuits. Put this on the ICs and zap away, if it changes color you know you've got a problem.

We use your LCS-113 film. It leaves some adhesive behind. We may not be getting it all off. It then sees 400 deg C for 24 hours and then remains in a vacuum. Will the adhesive survive 400C? If so will it outgas in a vacuum afterwards?

Asked by: Hugh
Thank you for your inquiry. The maximum temperature for the adhesive is 150°C. We do not have any outgassing data.
