0.01" fine wire T/C for speedy measurements
We use the 0.10" fine wire t/c for testing the temperature reaction time of of thermal sensing shower valves to measure the speed of the reaction time in the milliseconds.

nice coupler great for our application.
the only problem i had was it needed to go into the side of a hot block had to bend the probe about 90' and the first one cracked.i was able to install the second one at less of an angle it was fine.

What would the transition joint diameter be for the TK36-CASS-020G-2? Could I use a thermocouple compression fitting on this? Would omegalok work for that?
Thank you for your inquiry DerekJ. The transition joint diameter is 1/4". Yes you can use compression fittings with this probe.

Over what distance at the tip does this measure temperature for this model?
The thermocouple junction is at the tip of the probe. Within the first 0.5 inch the temperature is being taken.

What is the overall length (excluding wires) of TK36-CASS-020G-2?
Thank you for your inquiry CalebK. The length of the probe is 2". The transition joint is 2.25"

In reference guide, upper temperature limit table indicates the upper temperature limit of T-TC (24AWG, 0.020 in) is 200 C. This website shows the upper temperature limit of TJ36-CPSS-020U-6 is 260 C. Which is correct?
Thank you for your inquiry. TJ36-CPSS-020U-6 has MgO Insulation that allows for higher upper temperature.

I'm looking for a thermocouple with the highest accuracy possible (range of temp from 0 to 40°C) and a 0.01" probe diameter. What is the best thermocouple for this ?
Thank you for your inquiry. We need more information in order to provide a product. Please email your request to temp@dwyeromega.com that way one of our engineers can advise.

Hello, is this probe able to be bent to a 90 degree configuration? If so, what bend radius would be achievable? My application has a very small space to operate in.
Thank you for your inquiry. Bending Metallic Sheathed Thermocouples: The Minimum Bend RADIUS Should be NO LESS than THREE TIMES the diameter of the probe being bent.
