Conflict Mineral Policy Statement
Overview
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) adopted the Conflict Minerals provision of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, Section 1502 on August 22, 2012. The rule requires publicly traded companies to disclose annually to the SEC whether tin, tantalum, tungsten, or gold (3TG's) in their products originated in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) or adjoining countries "Covered Countries" if those "Conflict Minerals are necessary to the functionality or production of a product manufactured."
In January 2021, the European Union (EU) Conflict Minerals Regulation went into effect. Like Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Act, the EU regulation targets 3TG and requires companies to disclose the origin of the minerals. The regulation considers conflict minerals as those originating from any conflict zone or high-risk area. High-risk countries can include those that have weak or non-existent governance structures, or have systematic violations of international law, including human rights abuses.

Dwyer Instruments, LLC and any of its affiliated companies (collectively referred to as "DwyerOmega") are global leaders in sensing, monitoring and control technologies. As such, DwyerOmega is committed to our social responsibility to respect human rights and not contribute to conflict with respect to the manufacture of our products especially with regards to the use of Conflict Minerals.
DwyerOmega does not source from or deal directly with any smelters nor with any entity listed on the OFAC SDN list. Any and all smelters listed on our Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT) - including those located in Covered Countries - are declared to a 3rd party data collection partner contracted by DwyerOmega. That information from our suppliers is reflected in our CMRT.
DwyerOmega encourages our suppliers to comply with all applicable laws and regulations and also to have a policy in place to trace the origin of those 3TG items sourced by them and their sub-tier suppliers.

- Endeavoring to ensure all goods supplied comply with the product specifications established by DwyerOmega and meet our high-quality standards as well as comply with national and international standards and regulations.
- Engaging with our suppliers and sub-tier suppliers to perform due diligence within their supply chains to work towards using minerals from responsible sources. It is DwyerOmega's expectation that our suppliers comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding Conflict Minerals.
- Remaining cognizant of all actors in our supply chain regardless of those actors' location and specific relevance to responsibly sourced minerals.
