As a lead pressure transducer manufacturer, Omega has developed a new interactive configuration tool that provides a fast and simple way to build custom transducer suitable for application. MM Series custom transducers allow for over 1-million possible combinations of parameters such as pressure type, range, unit, material, output, accuracy, fitting, temperature compensation range, and electrical termination. At the end of the process, the Configurator will provide a part number, price and delivery time for the transducer.
OMEGA’s micro-machined piezoresistive pressure transducers have a proven record in high performance commercial, automotive, test and measurement and aerospace applications. The piezoresistive process uses strain gages molecularly embedded into a highly stable silicon wafer. The silicon wafer is diced into individual die which each contain a full strain gage bridge. The die is mounted in a sealed chamber protected from the environment by glass to metal seals and a pressure sensitive stainless steel diaphragm. A small volume of silicone oil transfers the pressure from the diaphragm to the strain bridge. The construction provides a very rugged transducer with exceptional accuracy, stability and thermal effects.

Transducer works as expected
Signal is stable. Was not clear to me from the data sheet, but the conduit option comes with prepped wire leads.

Can you supply the procedure for testing and verifying the output of the transducer, using the ZERO and SPAN adjustments? We had a NEW unit show zero output after adjusting these...
Thank you for your inquiry, we do not offer a procedure for verification using the zero & span adjustments. The zero & span adjustments are used for fine tuning once the unit is installed in your system.

Hello, I configured PN MMA015V10P1C1T4A4, 15 PSIA pressure transducer, 0-10VDC output. Please confirm the voltage outputs at 0 PSIA and at 15 PSIA. Thank you

Does the type of DC power supply affect the accuracy? For a 0-10V output would a 15VDC linear supply result in better performance than a 15VDC switching supply?
Voltage transducers and current loop transmitters normally have amplifiers and signal conditioning built in. They can accept an unregulated or regulated power supply, which means the excitation voltage can vary between limits set by the manufacturer and, for a given pressure, the output signal will not vary.
I have personally used regulated and unregulated power supplies, I do not have much experience with switching supplies.

I'm looking for a diff pressure transducer that is able to measure a small pressure differential (i.e <1PSI), but in a high pressure vessel. On the spec sheet, which rating indicates the safe operating range for the device? The line static pressure?
Line/Static Pressure: 500 psi maximum applied to both sides simultaneously...
Proof Pressure (Differential):
10 inH2O range = 10 times range
1 psi range = 6 times range
2.5 to 750 psi ranges = 4 times range
1000 psi range = 3 times range
Hi Side Containment Pressure (Differential):
Ranges 10 inH2O to 5 psi: to 1000 psi
Ranges 15 to 1000 psi: to 3000 psi

I am going to use MMG001C1P3B1T1A2, MMA030C1P1B1T3A4, and MMDWU001C1P3B1T1A2. Does mounting orientation affect any of these transducers?
We would recommend keeping them up, perpendicular to the surface. Especially the 1 psi range for both single and diff. pressures. This is very low ranges and very sensitive to the atmospheric pressures and will affect the performance of them. The 30psi should be ok.
