The HOBO MX2200 Series Pendant waterproof temperature loggers leverage the power of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to deliver accurate temperature measurements straight to your iOS or Android mobile device. Designed for durability, this compact waterproof logger is ideal for measuring temperature in streams, lakes, oceans, and soil environments.
Using the HOBOmobile app, you can easily configure the logger, read it out, view data on your phone or tablet, export the data, or automatically upload the data to HOBOlink’s free cloud storage, for further analysis. The logger can calculate minimum, maximum, average, and standard deviation statistics and can be configured to trip visual alarm thresholds. The MX2200 series supports burst logging, in which data are logged at a different interval when sensor readings are above or below certain limits. This logger also lets you maximize battery life with a power-saving mode that uses the Bluetooth signal only when needed.

Food processing temp monitoring
I have been looking for an inexpensive and durable solution to monitoring temperature in my food manufacturing/storage facility. This unit seems to be the best solution for the $$ that i have found. 3 weeks in and all is functioning proper with great reports.

Do you need anything else to activate these loggers? Or can activation and set up be done via bluetooth

Click on the 'Manuals' Link and download the Manual, there will be a link to the HoboMobile app you will have to download via smartphone in order to configure it.
