The NSA series high temperature strip heater features a slim ½" (1.27 cm) width design, ideal for heat applications where space is restricted. The maximum temperature rating is 1500°F with Incoloy sheath material. Applications include heating of large tanks, vats and heating ducts while clamped to the surface.
FEATURES
3 /16 " (0.5 cm) thick x ½" (1.27 cm) wide mini-size construction similar to NS type. The heater design, materials and construction give long life for given power densities. The Incoloy sheath encloses nickel-chromium resistance wire embedded in a densely compacted refractory material selected for dielectric insulation value and good heat conduction to the sheath. The small cross-section is often an advantage where space is a factor.
