Great for QC or R&D
This is our 2nd flow meter of this style. The readings from old one match the new one. Good gage repeatability. Works great for checking air pumps. The display is good when you don't want hook up the analog output. Just keep the water drops away and make sure that you warm it up for 5 minutes.

Hello, Is there an interface to communicate with the device through the 9-pin sub-D connector ? I'd like to record the data from the flow meter. Do you have additional doc about that please ? Thanks in advance
Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, as per the FMA-A2000 series manual, use PINS 3 & 8 for the 4 to 20 mA output OR PINS 4 & 8 for the 0 to 5 voltage output of you choice or preference.

Mass flow meters measuring liquids 120 degree's. water glycol. pressure's 800 psi. Up to 1200 psi. Factory aluminum foundry diecasting. CNC machining. Tough factory environment. Would like to talk to a engineer familiar with type engineering experience.
Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, Omega's mass flow meters are only for gases, not liquids.

We have an FMA-A2307 that after it turns on and eventually zeros, drifts between 0.01 to -0.02. We had it calibrated one year ago. When we put a flow on it which ranges from 0 to 0.30 LPM, it takes a while to get to a constant number.
Thank you for your inquiry! Yearly calibrations are recommended for these units and if this is a recent development another calibration may be needed. More details may be needed to diagnose this issue. Please contact us at flow@omega.com so that we can troubleshoot this issue.

Is the flow meter able to measure flow rates of air at rough vacuum pressures? I'd like to mount it inline with the inlet of a vacuum pump and measure the actual air flow rate the pump is drawing at line pressures around 10 mbar.
Thank you for your inquiry about the mass flow meters. Yes, this family of flow meters can measure in a vacuum application/condition and you have sufficient pressure to pull the air thru to measure.

are there water mesurements in lbs ?
This flowmeter is strictly only for gas flow. Cannot run water through it.
