OMEGAs TQ201/TQM201 Series comprises in-line mount reaction torque sensors. They are designed to be mounted to the torque producing element for measuring the starting torque of motors.

How fast are these sensors updated? I need something in the 1 - 5 milisecond range for torque, current, and position for analyzing a motor start up.

Thanks for the question? These are an analog output so it is a continuous output and here is no update rate. The response time of the sensor to a change in torque should be about 1 millisecond
