Description
Les sondes de température hypodermiques OMEGA sont conçues pour les applications de production et de R&D dans l'industrie chimique le laboratoire. Cinq types de sonde sont proposés avec des diamètres allant de 0,2 mm à 1,65 mm. Les sondes HYP-O, HYP-1 et HYP-2 sont de type T (Cuivre-Constantan) tandis que les sondes HYP-3 sont de type J, K, T ou E. La sonde HYP-4 a un élément sensible en platine 100 ohm avec courbe standard 0,00385.La sonde miniature HYP-0 a une aiguille de diamètre 0,2 mm qui aura l'effet le plus restreint sur l'environnement lors de l'insertion. Nos techniques de fabrication sous microscope binoculaire nous permettent de réaliser cette sonde miniature protégée par une aiguille en acier inoxydable de 25 mm de long. Cette sonde possède la réponse la plus rapide de toutes les sondes hypodermiques et une gamme de température continue jusqu'à 200°C. Elle est équipée d'un connecteur miniature SMP et de fils de 0,13 mm de diamètre et de 1,5 m de long, isolés par du Téflon.
La sonde HYP-1 de 0.3 mm de diamètre est étuvable jusqu'à 160°C. Les sondes HYP-3 et 4 sont adaptées aux applications industrielles avec des éléments sensibles thermocouple et Pt100.

Arrived with broken wire lead
This item arrived with one of the wires leading into the plug broken. I called Technical Support, and they advised me to try to fix it. I was able to do so after about an hour (the leads are incredibly thin with thin insulation). Seems to work now, but disappointing because this should not have been my problem.

Probes were unstable
I bought 7 of the HYPO hypodermic needles. All were unstable. It totally defeats the purpose of having a thermocouple to monitor a temperature. It is supposedly used as the indicator of a process. I would like to return these.

We use these in the field to measure insect body temperatures. They are performing as expected and equilibrate quickly.

In the past we have ordered mini type K probes - TJ-36-CASS-14G-9-SB-SMPW-M. We need to purchase additional quantity but that number is not coming up on your website. Can you advise if the number has changed or has it been discontinued. Thank you
The HYP0 probes are a unique family of probes which do not include the TJ36 style series. When looking to find the TJ36 probes use it as the prefix for your search and it will lead you to the series page and allow you to select or customize a wide range of options.

What is the chemical resistance of the HYP0 probe? Can it withstand alkaline solutions?
Thank you for the inquiry. The sheath material of the needle is 304SS. Recommend to verify your chemical mixture against 304SS using chemical compatibility tables.
