Picomag – The compact alternative to a mechanical flowmeter

No moving parts, simple to install, maintenance free, high performance and future proof outputs at a price much less than a mechanical float or turbine meter sounds to good to be true, but now it’s a reality.

Simple configuration via Bluetooth or IOLink reduces dramatically any commissioning time and installation couldn’t be easier. A physical footprint so small by conventional offerings means you can hold even the 2” meter in your hand.

Auto-rotatable display field:

Up to 4 variables displayed (Flow, Totalisation, Conductivity and Temperature), the display field rotates automatically depending on the installation position and flow direction. This means that the values are always easy to read.

The app allows for configuration as well as comprehensive access to device data. The device communication works via Bluetooth on IOS and Android devices.

Please provide some use cases of your product where an IO-Link interface is used instead of Bluetooth to interface it with another vendor IO-Link master like Maxim Integrated IO-Link Transceivers waiting for your response

Does this flow meter work for wastewater (Item# DMA15-AAAAA1)?

Can this flow meter be used for viscous fluid like polymer?

Thank you for your inquiry! These flow meters are well suited for viscous fluids. The major concern is the conductivity of the process liquid. A minimum conductivity of 10 microsiemens per centimeter is required.

What does the pressure drop vs flow rate curve look like?

whats the differnce between the following cable sets for the PicoMag? 71349261 Cable Set 5m/16.4ft,straight,4x0.34,M12 or 71349264 Cable Set 5m/16.4ft,90deg,4x0.34,M12

Thank you for your inquiry. The difference with these cables is the convenience of installation. Having a 90 degree elbow in the event you do not have enough space or the standard straight cable connection.

We're measuring a mixture of 2% Laponite RD with tap water w/w. Air < 2psi pushes the mix thru 1/4" id Tygon downward and the outlet is open to the atmosphere. Will the Q measured by this unit differ from the Q in the 1/4" Tygon?

Thank you for your inquiry about the Picomag. The smallest process connection is a 1/2 inch and may be too low of a flow rate for the mag meter to measure and also requires the flow to be pressurized and full at all times.

Does the Picomag store data points such as maximum flow rate during a specified period of time? If so, can this data be retrieved through the Bluetooth capability on a smart phone? Thanks.
