Description
The OM-CP-RFRHTEMP2000A is a wireless temperature and humidity data logger with digital display. The OM-CP-RFRHTEMP2000A is ideal for both industrial or laboratory applications including supply chain storage facilities, incubator monitoring and HVAC studies. Designed with external humidity and RTD based temperature sensors, the device provides a fast response time for both parameters. For customer convenience, functions include starting, stopping and downloading from the device wirelessly using the OM-CP-RFC1000-EXT wireless transceiver. This allows customers to quickly access data and spend less time maintaining the device. Data can be provided in real time back to a central PC, or the device may be downloaded at periodic intervals. The digital display provides the current reading for both the humidity and temperature channels with minimum, maximum and average statistics accessible for a quick snapshot of the logged data. The OM-CP-RFRHTEMP2000A features user programmable alarm settings for both temperature and humidity parameters. An audible buzzer and LED alarm indicator notifies users when the temperatureor humidity is above or below the threshold set in the alarm. Email and text alarms can also be configured and sent from within the software, allowing users to be notified almost anywhere. The OM-CP-RFRHTEMP2000A can be used as a single, wireless data logging system, or it can be expanded to a large scale system, which can include hundreds of data loggers measuring a number of areas (additional wireless data loggers and transceivers may be required). Data retrieval is simple. Plug the device into an available USB port and our easy-to-use software does the rest. The software converts a PC into a real-time strip chart recorder. The data logger software is a powerful, analytic tool. Data can be viewed in graphical or tabular formats and summary and statistics views are available for further analysis. The software features export to Excel®, data annotation and more.

Can the channel be changed to match the transiver?
Hello, thank you for your questions. Yes, the manual shows the following instructions:
To program the channel on the OM-CP-RFRHTemp2000A data logger, start by
switching the wireless mode to OFF by holding down the Wireless button on the data logger for 5 seconds.
1. Use the USB Cable, plug the USB end of the cable into an available USB port on the PC.
2. Plug the opposite end of the cable into the communication port on the OM-CP-RFRHTemp2000A.
3. Open the Omega data logger Software. Locate and select the OM-CP-RFRHTemp2000A in the Connect
Devices panel.
4. In the Device tab, click the Properties icon. The Properties screen will display information about the
device including Wireless setting.
5. Under the Wireless tab, select a desired channel (11-25) that will match with the OM-CP-RFC1000-EXT.
Save all changes, disconnect the data logger, and return the device to wireless mode by holding down
the Wireless button for 5 seconds.

Can this be used right out of the box and data can be collected with USB or do I need to purchase the wireless transceiver?
Thank you for your question. If you are just using device as a logger and not wireless nothing else is needed except software which is free download from the product page.

Can this be calibrated by hand or does it need to be sent out for calibration?
Though the unit can be calibrated by the user through the software we highly recommend sending it back if user does not have proper calibration equipment.

Does this product come with thermocouples or do those need to be purchased separately.
Hello, thank you for your question. This logger has internal sensors for temperature and humidity, it does not accept thermocouple inputs. If you are looking for a thermocouple logger version of this, you can take a look at the OM-CP-RFTCTEMP2000A. It comes with a complementary thermocouple, but you can also buy a different one if needed for your application.

I need to setup this device to start and stop recording at perticular times in a day. The start function works, however the stop forkflow has an issue. the status says its stop, but it still shows running at the top.

I keep seeing the audible alarm capability but it is not an option in the software, only email alert.
Thank you for your question. When you connect logger to PC and go to logger properties/display is where you set alarm and enable buzzer.
